Brut - Cuvée Exception 2008

«Franck BAILLY has selected for the EXCEPTION cuvée a vintage 2008 - 1er CRU champagne. This vintage champagne is the result of an exceptional year and comes solely from the year's harvest. The year 2008 was a remarkable year for the vines, a harsh winter, a rainy spring and sunshine just before the harvest which allowed the grapes to reach a perfect sanitary state. He therefore decided to bottle a blend of the three grape varieties (1/3 Meunier, 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Noir) from this single year 2008. An ageing period of 11 years was necessary in order to offer this divine nectar to your palate

To the eye: yellow gold, amber highlights.

In the nose: deep evoking dry plants, dried fruits on a slightly woody background.

In the mouth: generous, melted, of a beautiful vinosity. The freshness is present to coat the whole.

"Beautiful pale gold color. Pleasant nose of fruit dominated by small red fruits. The palate draws real benefits from the blend, at the same time fresh, vinous, fleshy. It shows a pleasant personality and character. For the meal."
